K Light Interiors is a boutique residential interior design firm based in Tampa, Florida. Kate works closely with her clients to create comfortable, yet polished settings, taking into consideration their individual lifestyle and personal needs.

With a background in art history, Kate developed an appreciation for art and architecture while studying design in Florence, Italy. Ultimately narrowing her concentration to modern European art history, Kate graduated with a degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Growing up with an inherent eye for design, Kate followed in her mother's footsteps and began to focus her efforts on interior design. While in Atlanta, Kate had the opportunity to work with nationally acclaimed design firm, Courtney Giles Interiors, while attending design courses at Savannah School of Art & Design. During her tenure in Atlanta, Kate developed the ability to adapt to a client's personal vision by constantly exploring new creative solutions.

Upon moving to Charlottesville, Virginia, in 2015, the ultimate goal was realized when K Light Interiors opened its doors. With her modern roots, Southern influence and experience in the Atlanta design space, Kate brought an eclectic array of design skills with a fresh look to central Virginia. With a few renovations and some fun projects under her belt, Kate and her husband returned to Atlanta, Georgia, and K Light Interiors opened its doors in Buckhead. Kate worked with clients in the greater Atlanta area to widen her range of experience, from new construction projects to single room revamps. In 2019, Kate and her family returned to her hometown of Tampa, Florida. K Light Interiors currently works with clients up & down the east coast, from New York City to Florida.
